Toyohari acupuncture

How is it a session of Toyohari Acupuncture?

Toyohari Acupuncture was developed by blind acupuncture practitioners in Japan after World War II.

By practising together and checking every technique with the pulse, Toyohari acupuncturists developed a style of acupuncture that doesn't require to introduce the needles in the body, yet it's very effective in balancing the energy meridians in the body.

It is a delicate form of acupuncture, smooth and painless. Toyohari is the ideal acupuncture style for sensitive people, pregnant women or people afraid of needles.

Toyohari Acupuncture: what is it good for?

Acupuncture doesn't work like western medicine, where a medication with an specific effect in your body is prescribed to treat a symptom or disorder. Acupuncture regulates the energetic channels of the body to improve vitality in general, so it has a more global effect, beneficial for many different conditions.

For example, Claudia goes to the acupuncturist to get treatment for pain in her feet. During the first interview about her condition, it comes out that she has also insomnia, hot flushes, sweat at night, some anxiety and irritability. It's difficult for her stop obsessive thoughts about worries. Her menstrual period has become irregular and also her apetite for food.

The treatment will focus of course in helping with the feet pain, but as the energy channels of her feet interconnect with her organs and the rest of the body, the treatment will impact her globally. After two or three sessions it is to be expected that not only her pain improves, but also many of her secondary problems like the insomnia and her mood gets better.
